Hello, My name is Sunghyun Ahn. I am a Machine Learning Research Engineer at PYLER, developing video understanding AI to boost advertising performance and strengthen brand value.

My current research focuses on multimodal deep learning, computer vision, and video understanding, particularly video scene segmentation and video RAG, which integrates visual and auditory modalities.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The Catholic Univerity of Korea, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and my Master’s degree in Computer Science from Yonsei University, under the supervision of Prof. Sanghyun Park.

I have been maintaining a technical blog since my second year of university, where I share insights on computer science and data science topics. Although most posts are in Korean, please feel free to ask questions, leave comments, or send emails in English as well.

안녕하세요, PYLER에서 머신러닝 리서치 엔지니어로 근무하고 있는 안성현입니다.
저는 비디오를 이해하는 AI를 개발하여 광고 퍼포먼스를 향상시키고 브랜드 가치를 강화하는 일을 하고 있습니다.

현재는 멀티모달 딥러닝, 컴퓨터 비전, 그리고 비디오 이해 분야에 집중하고 있으며, 특히 비디오 장면 분할과 비디오 RAG 연구를 통해 영상의 시각적·청각적 정보를 통합적으로 다루는 방법을 탐구하고 있습니다.

학사 학위는 가톨릭대학교 컴퓨터정보공학부에서 우등으로 졸업하였으며, 석사 학위는 연세대학교 컴퓨터과학과에서 박상현 교수님의 지도하에 취득했습니다.

대학교 2학년 때부터 기술 블로그를 운영하며 컴퓨터 과학과 데이터 사이언스 관련 주제를 다루고 있습니다. 대부분의 글은 한국어로 작성되어 있지만, 영어로 질문이나 의견을 남기시거나 이메일을 보내주셔도 환영합니다.
